Here’s a portrait from a shoot I did with author and historian Dr Damien Fenton at the Wellington War Memorial. Penguin has just released his book about New Zealands involvement in the First World War in time for the 100 year anniversary next year.

I photographed New Zealand composer, producer and musician David Long yesterday around the corner at Red Rocks. He has just finished composing the music for the feature film about Sir Edmund Hillary and Tenzing Norgays ascent of Mt Everest called Beyond the Edge.

The backyard was special this morning with a pod of Orca cruising by.  Got a message and heads up from my friend and artist Jason O’Hara  who knows I get very excited (possibly too excited) about Orca. Rushed down with my kids for some quality David Attenborough time. Someone even got a shot of me dangling my toes in the water here.
