I photographed Robert yesterday for a document nominating him as he seeks a place on the UN Committee on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities. If he’s successful he would be the first person with a learning disability to sit on this committee. Here’s a link to a short video (not shot by me) with his inspiring story.
The warped geometry of an aged playground. The structures gone but the slide still retains a hopeful shine.
Bits scattered across the Wairarapa coast. The fireplace, like a lone proud sentinel, a reminder of prior endeavour and graft.
After a long walk dragging your offspring around the mountain there’s nothing better than heading to the hot pools at Tokannu. And then spotting the church and madonna across the road on your way out.
