The backyard was special this morning with a pod of Orca cruising by. Got a message and heads up from my friend and artist Jason O’Hara who knows I get very excited (possibly too excited) about Orca. Rushed down with my kids for some quality David Attenborough time. Someone even got a shot of me dangling my toes in the water here.
Wake
I had the pleasure of photographing New Zealand author Elizabeth Knox on Wednesday for Victoria University Press.
Her new novel ‘Wake’ is being released soon and I read it before the shoot for a bit of background. It’s a horror filled supernatural and science fiction thriller (quite the description huh!) so we tried to capture a somewhat mystical element with this shoot.
By the way, buy the book, its a wonderful read!

20th June Storm
